Fellas,
I need some help or guidance. I've been spending the last few days making proper edits to my DSDT and I've come very close to it being finally complete. I am missing, both literally and compatibility, my sleep function. I've been reading numerous posts / fixes from various forums and cannot get it under control. I've made some progress such as the usual minor fixes ( methods, return values.. blah blah blah ), I had CMOS resets, a NullCPU kext to keep my system alive, fans spinning loudly after trying to test the sleep function, restarts and shutdown not executing correctly, all of which I've been able to rectify, but sleep isn't one of them.
I'm not asking anyone to do the work for me, I'd really like to do it myself, so as I said guidance would be great. If someone is kind enough to make the edits or even follow me along my progress, I'm going to seriously analyze the work because it is fascinating as this a new area for me.
My system specs are posted below, and yes I do realize this is older hardware, but I'd rather avoid the usual banter of telling me to get new hardware and help me truly diagnose the problem. I had a different PC capable of running this OS and now I'd like to get this one perfected ( or close to it ). Files attached
