I've opened this topic for invite all users of Apple Bootcamp to discuss about Nvidia MCP/79 an its implementation over Windows in Dual Boot with MacOS X. Nvidia MCP79 is present in some MacBook Air, MacPro, and Macbook late 2009 and there aren´t enought support for Mac users all over the web.The nVidia support website doesnt give a concrete answer. This issue may arise due to incompatibility of graphics driver with Windows or Virtual machine that are you using or with Mac OS.
This issue may arise due to incompatibility of graphics driver with Windows or Virtual machine that are you using or with Mac OS. I suggest you to try compatibility mode for graphics driver and check if it helps. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:
- Right click on graphic driver that you have downloaded from manufacturer website.
- Click/tap on Properties.
- Check the Run this program in Compatibility mode for under Compatibility tab
- Select Windows 8.1/8 from the drop down under Compatibility mode section.
- Click on Apply and Ok.
- Install the drivers, restart PC and check if issue is resolved.
If issue persist, I suggest you to get in contact with Apple support for better suggestion.

I'm seeing the same issue. Can't even get it to boot in safe mode. Nvidia has to be working on a fix here, right? Is there at least a workaround or an old driver that works in the interim?
Technically this model of MacBook isn't supported for Windows 10. Still, I'd expect Nvidia stuff to work.

Same issue here on Macbook 13' White (Early 2009) with Nvidia 9400m, even latest 341.81 driver crashes after Windows boot logo, old Windows 7 (Apple's Bootcamp 4) driver also..
Only Microsoft Basic Driver works, so no graphic cards benefits - any help would be greatly appreciated!

Found the solution
You're probably (U)EFI Booting Windows on your Macbook.
'Technical info: While Windows 8 no longer expects an EFI system to have VGA-compatible video, Nvidia drivers apparently still do and crash if they don’t detect it. The above commands are supposed to enable the VGA support in the graphics card.'
I'm writing this from Windows on my Macbook 5,2 with Nvidia 9400m running latest Nvidia Driver 341.92
You have to boot your Windows from an EFI shell, for example following this guide: BetterThanBootcamp GUIDE reddit
and add these lines to your startup.nsh so that it looks like this:

and add these lines to your startup.nsh so that it looks like this:
Hi, thank you so much for this tip. I have the same issue my Macbook air 2010 installed Windows 10 by deleting all partition and recreated it with GPT and an EFI partition. I tried google search and didn't find on how to edit startup.nsh file. Can you tell me where I find this file to edit? Thanks.

Thanks for the hint. Somehow I missed that section when I was reading it the first time. Now that I know how to edit the startup.nsh. Can you point me to another guide how to figure out the PCI register for my card? I read this guidehttp://forums.macrumors.com/threads/win7-x64-booting-natively-via-efi-no-bios-emulation.696523/page-10#post-14101770 but a little confusing to me. For example, when it ask to start the shell in the first step, do you start it in Windows or Mac and how do you start it? I read that it started from BIOS for PC but the Macbook doesn't allow you to enter into EFI.
